Philanthropy

While beer is our passion, helping our community is also a priority and in 2014 we created a Charity of the Month program.  Through this program, we highlight a charity each month and they receive a percentage of sales from our tasting room. This program supports LTBC’s mission overall to create personal connections to our community. These connections have brought many people from all backgrounds to come to the brewery to support charities by drinking their favorite beer, listening to live music or participating in events!

Applications are reviewed and charities are carefully selected each year by our employees. Once a charity is selected, they are required to provide materials for promotion in our tasting room as well as to assist in planning an event that highlights how their organization impacts our community.

Interested in applying? Fill out our philanthropy application at the bottom of the page. *Chosen charities are required to help organize and run an event at the brewery that highlights how your organization impacts our community.

*Note: LTBC has decided to donate annually to St. Baldrick’s in March, Freedom Service Dogs in May, CancerBlows in July and Drink for Pink in October. Applications will not be considered for these months.

Big Dogs Huge Paws

Big Dogs – Huge Paws Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to rescuing, rehoming, and rehabilitating unwanted giant breed dogs that have been mistreated, neglected, abused and/or abandoned. We believe giant breeds to be loyal and loving, yet very expensive and sometimes overwhelming due to their massive size and need for constant human attention.

Many families do not do proper research and the result is an alarming number of giant breed dogs in need of assistance. Our purpose is to provide a loving foster home and quality food, medical attention, and behavioral training while they are in our care in order to properly evaluate and attend to each dog’s special needs. Our ultimate goal is to place each foster dog in a forever home with a family who has demonstrated their ability to provide the necessary love, attention, and care that every gentle giant deserves. We strive to educate owners and potential owners about each unique giant breed’s lifestyle, temperament, nutrition, health, and behavioral needs in order to support the breeds and find the perfect match for each rescue dog in our program.
